“Carly ran an incredible class. Movements were smooth and natural in their flow, and she has excellent delivery and cadence to walk us through our practice.”

— yoga student

“Carly's vinyasa session is a holistic take - she usually offers an intention with no requirements, meaning you don't need to create a theme for yourself but at the very least you are encouraged to engage your mind. The flows are thoughtful and nuanced with each pose building on the one previous, but not in the most predictable pattern. Carly is an excellent teacher - she offers instructions in both an articulate and motivating manner.”

— samuel l.

“Loved the atmosphere and the intention behind this class. Carly gave options to different flows, which we could use at our own pace. Music in this class is great too!”

acknowledgement of land, lineage, and privilege

I live and work on the ancestral land of the first peoples of Seattle, the Duwamish People. I honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish tribe, its members past, present, and emerging. I am committed to a personal, embodied practice of decolonization and as part of this practice, I pay rent to the Duwamish Tribe.

I honor and acknowledge the lineages of contemplative practice and yogic philosophy and practice that have contributed to my own learning, practice, and facilitation.

My lived experience is one with many facets of privilege. My intention is to facilitate from a place that both acknowledges the privileges I embody and actively works to dismantle the many systems of oppression from which I benefit. I acknowledge that my intent will not always align with my impact and in the spirit of accountability, I welcome feedback from those whose lived experiences might differ from mine.
